ACNE SPOT LED LAMP BULB LIGHT

NEW Acne Lamps and Light bulbs for the treatment of Acne and Spots
Our new Acne lamps and bulbs contain 20 Violet (near UV) LEDs, proven in the treatment of Acne.
The LEDs we use in our acne lamps are identical to those we produce and supply to many of the worlds leading skin phototherapy companies.
The main bacteria responsible for the inflammation of acne is Propionibacterium acnes or P.acnes. These bacteria produce natural chemicals called poryphyrins, which are sensitive to light at different wavelengths. If stimulated, these chemicals will neutralise the bacteria and with no bacteria present inflammation will subside.

Violet light at a peak wavelength of 415 nm penetrates the skin and initiates these chemicals causing an anti-bacterial response by the body to help attack and reduce the cause of bacteria and thus the reduction in redness and soreness and the formation of new spots that is the unfortunate consequence of many types of acne. This wavelength of light has been isolated from the broadband spectrum of light emitted by the Sun, as to be as the most effective in the treatment of acne. Which is why many sufferers report improved skin during the summer months after exposure to sun light. It is not myth but true fact, Light at different wavelengths has been used for many years in many different areas, including water treatment, scar severity reduction, jaundice, hair reduction as well as many other different areas.
Our Violet lamps are totally non-invasive and create almost no heat. The treatment does not damage normal tissue and increases the skins own natural anti-bacterial reaction.

As with any treatment, do not expect to see results overnight! You should follow a daily regime of 15 minutes per day every day for atleast 4 weeks. And more likely 6 to 8 weeks before seeing significant results. (Failing to adhere to a strict regime is the mostly likely cause of any treatment, no matter what it is to fail).
The acne lamp/bulb should be placed approximatley 150 mm (6 inches) away from the affected area, and one area treated at a time. However if you suffer from more localized acne, then this distance can be brought down to 76mm or 100mm ( 3 to 4 inches). this will concentrate the light source.
Just like any other treatment, not all things work for all people, but hopefully you will be one of the ones to benefit.

Available in standard 220v/240v/110v AC GU10 and E27 screw base.
Acne Lamp Light Bulbs are available in the two most common format bases and fit directly into standard GU10 and E27 base light fittings.
Directions: Wash the affeced area/areas gently with luke warm water and pure soap and pat dry.
As with any treatment, do not expect to see results overnight! You should follow a daily regime of 15 minutes just once per day every day for atleast 4 weeks, and more likely 6 to 8 weeks before seeing significant results. (Failing to adhere to a strict regime is the mostly likely cause of any treatment, no matter what it is to fail). After 12 weeks of a strict regime hopefully you should see a significant benefit, after which time you should reduce treatment to 3 times per week, 15 minutes per day. If this maintains the same level of effectiveness, then gradually reduce treatment over the following weeks, as the skin will continue to produce anti-bacterial agents even after treatment has stopped.
Do not over treat your skin, this will not speed up treatment.
We recommend that you use a desk lamp with flexible neck so that it can be postioned so that the affected area is exposed directly to the light beam, and you can sit commfortably whilst treatment is being performed.
